Court Throws Out Busola Dakolo's Case Against COZA Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Orders Her To Pay Him

After a widely publicized court battle between both parties, a federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday, dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA). Months after the internet broke with the video of Busola Dakolo, accusing Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), of raping her when she was a teenager, a high court has given the final verdict to the case.

According to reports, Busola was charged a fine of $3,658.00 as the Justice explained that it should have been 10 times more for wasting the court’s time. The Justice also added that the court case was not aimed at getting justice but at cruelty.

Justice Oathman A. Musa, in giving the judgment, held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse of judicial process, and added that the case is empty and purely sentimental.

Dakolo filed the suit against Fatoyinbo after alleging that he raped her in 2002 and caused her emotional distress.
